Pierre Clouet, Director of the French Institute met Merab Khalvashi, Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. At the meeting, organized in the frame of the Francophonie Days the parties defined the directions and priorities of the future cooperation. Joint cultural-educational projects and exchange programmes as well as deepening collaboration between the Francophone University Agency (AUF) and the French-Georgian University were also planned.
The meeting was also attended by Ketevan Kurtsikidze, Coordinator of the Linguistic and Educational Field of the French Institute, Tamar Siradze, the BSU Deputy Rector, Marine Giorgadze, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Natalia Surguladze, Head of the Department of European Studies.
