On March 14-16, participants of the Erasmus + RURD program from BSU attended workshops at the University of Vytauta Magnus (Kaunas, Lithuania). Project Coordinator at BSU, Associate Professor Khatuna Beridze, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Professor Marina Giorgadze and Researcher in the project Levan Tarieladze got acquainted with the issues related to the implementation and management of the project. Implemented and future activities of the Rectors' Conference- University-Municipality Cooperation, Cultural Heritage, Sports’ International Cooperation, Tourism, Enterprise Practice Center "MINDED VDU", Multi-Functional Science and Research Center, Academic Recognition, Graduates’ Program, Institute of Innovative Research topical Issues were discussed at the meetings.
Representatives of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University made brief presentations at the meeting, summarizing the mission and strategic development plan of the University, the implemented activities and the defined LLL courses.
During the visit, a meeting was held with the Strategy Implementation Monitoring and Analysis Unit. The participants got acquainted with the activities of the Center for Communication and Technology Transfer, the activities of the Center for Commercialization of High-Level Research and Experimental Development Results, Knowledge and Technology Transfer Center in the Baltic Region, in the agro-sector.
Interesting meetings were also held with the representatives of BSU and the administration of the Career Development Office of the University of Kaunas Vytauta Magnus and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, where they had discussions on the future cooperation.
