A welcome party for international students was held at BSU on the initiative of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations of the university. In the current semester, 14 students from France, Poland, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Ukraine are continuing their studies at different faculties of BSU, based on "Erasmus+" exchange programs and cooperation memoranda.
The foreign students were welcomed by the Deputy Rector of the university Tamar Siradze, the Head of the Quality Assurance Service Vladimir Glonti, the Head of the Strategic Development and International Relations Department Marine Giorgadze and the representatives of the same department. The service of the Department of Student Career Development, Culture and Sports introduced the students to the clubs and sports sections operating at BSU and invited them to participate. The meeting was marked musically by the BSU band.
Foreign students presented interesting and fun presentations about their countries and universities, as well as corners decorated with national souvenirs and dishes.
At the meeting, future activities were planned, which will contribute to the cultural integration of international students.
