As part of the BSU 90th anniversary celebrations, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Graduate School of Humanities and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Tokyo Metropolitan University.
The Memorandum aims to strengthen bilateral academic relations, promote joint research, and develop short-term exchange programs. The agreement includes visits of academic staff, student exchanges, and joint conferences.
