Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Institutional Development International Grant Project - "Fostering Creative Engineering for a Sustainable Green World" (GreenEngine -ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE-STRAND-2, Project Number: 101236240), a coordination meeting, working sessions, and thematic workshops were held from March 9 to 11, 2026, at the University of L'Aquila, Italy.

The working group from Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (BSU), represented by Professor Gizo Partskhaladze, Professor Marine Giorgadze, and Assistant Professor Mariam Tsetskladze, participated in the event.

The meeting was opened with a welcoming address by the Rector of the University of L'Aquila, Professor Fabio Graziosi, who emphasized the vital importance of international academic cooperation in general, and particularly in the process of advancing modern engineering education. During the sessions, the project coordinator, Farkhad Niazov, provided partner organizations with a comprehensive overview of the current implementation stage, highlighting achieved results and outlining planned activities.

Throughout the working sessions, participants discussed the implementation progress of various work packages and forthcoming objectives. Specifically, the presentation by Professor Anna Tozzi introduced methodological approaches for developing new educational modules and curricula focused on green and sustainable engineering. The discussion also covered mechanisms for updating educational programs based on EU best practices.

Special attention was devoted to: Professional development initiatives for academic staff; Technical specifications for the upcoming Virtual Reality Laboratory (VR Lab Specification); Project quality assurance mechanisms and relevant monitoring and evaluation procedures.

Furthermore, a significant part of the working meeting was dedicated to the Dissemination and Sustainability Action Plan, which was developed and presented by the BSU team. This plan detailed the development of the project’s web platform (https://www.greenengine.uz/) and its presence across various social media networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).

Professors from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (Ulaanbaatar), led by Prof. Sarantuya Tsedendamba, attended project meetings during their working visit to the University of L'Aquila
