Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University hosted the Head of the Representative office of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, Taufik Lamsuhuri, Minister Counsellor for Economic Affairs and Honorary Representative of the Embassy Representative Office of the Republic of Indonesia for Economic Affairs Salome Kuchava.
As part of the visit, a working meeting was held with members of the university administration and academic staff. The main goal of the meeting was to introduce various scholarship programs offered by the Republic of Indonesia, discuss opportunities for student and academic staff exchanges, and deepen educational and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Special attention was given to programs such as the Darmasiswa Scholarship Program and the KNB Scholarship, which provide international students with unique opportunities to study in Indonesia and experience its culture. These programs aim to strengthen international relations, improve the quality of education, and foster closer connections among young people from different countries.
