The Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Batumi, Narine Matosiyan, visited Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University in connection with the completion of her diplomatic mission. The Consul was met by BSU Rector Tite Aroshidze and Deputy Rectors - Giorgi Katamadze and Tamar Siradze.
During the meeting, the parties summarized the results of many years of cooperation between Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and higher educational institutions of Armenia. It was noted that the partnership included academic and scientific cooperation, sharing of experience and implementation of joint initiatives.
The Rector thanked Narine Matosiyan for her fruitful cooperation with Batumi State University and her contribution to the internationalization of the university. In turn, the Consul General expressed his gratitude for the close relationship established with the university and noted that the development of cooperation with universities in Georgia and Armenia will continue in the future.
At the end of the meeting, the parties wished each other success and expressed their readiness to further deepen cooperation in the educational and scientific fields.
