
Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University Rector Merab Khalvashi. Vice Rector Natia Tsiklashvili, Vice Rector Tamar Siradze, professors of the Faculty of Natural Sciences discussed prospects of future cooperation with the delegates from the ’Green Seafood’, a fish processing group in Norway.
The parties will sign the memorandum of understanding, which will support training of the future professionals for the fishery industry. The training will be held jointly at the faculties of Health Care and Natural Sciences, BSU.
Through the collaboration project, BSU will work closely with the Norwegian universities, high schools and companies to exchange students.
‘Green SeafFood’ consortium is going to invest in Kobuleti and launch a pilot project of Norwegian salmon processing farm. The project envisages new technologies and fish production with the organic food.
