Public school teachers were trained within the framework of the Erasmus+ project Love Distance and the EU project Hubs4Schools

At the BSU Professional Program Management and Continuing Education Center, public school teachers were trained on the topic "Planning different stages of the lesson using digital technologies". Training was held to share experience gained at the trainers’ training Barcelona-2020 in the frame of the “ERASMUS+project “Teaching Optimization and Academic Inclusion through Application of Distance Teaching and Learning “ (Love Distance) with the initiative of  the training –“Establishment of Digital Innovations through Regional Innovative Hubs and Mentoring Model in Schools” of the EU project Horizon 2020.  

The main tasks of the training were to raise IT competences of teachers and improve the learning environment by integrating IT, promoting the establishment of a digital culture in the school, creating and using a Georgian language electronic learning resource to facilitate the integration of IT in the educational process. In addition to applying the knowledge gained during the training in their own practice, teachers, based on the model of mentoring and coaching, should share information with their colleagues regarding the planning of different stages of the lesson using digital technologies and in this way promote the improvement of digital competences among the teachers of their school.

19 teachers from Batumi, Khelvachauri, Kobuleti and Keda public schools participated in the training.
