The conference "Leadership in Vocational Education" is being organized for the first time in Georgia by the Center for Management of Vocational  Programs and Continuing Education of BSU and the electronic magazine "Vocational Education". The conference was opened and the participants were welcomed by BSU Deputy Rector Anzor Beridze, Head of BSU Vocational Program Management and Continuing Education Center Madonna Mikeladze, Deputy Director of the National Center for Education Quality Development Kakhaber Eradze, Head of the Vocational Department of the Ministry of Education and Science Tamar Kvinikadze, The general director of the agency Tamar Kitiashvili and the founder of the electronic magazine "Vocational Education" Nino Elbakidze.

The purpose of the conference is to determine the role of the leader of vocational education in the success of vocational education reforms in Georgia and to discuss the effective management of vocational educational institutions. Heads of institutions implementing vocational educational programs and education experts took part in the conference held in a hybrid format.

Within the framework of the conference, a workshop was held on the topic: "The framework of competences of the leader of the vocational educational institution according to the authorization standards". The workshop was moderated by the head of the vocational department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Tamar Kvinikadze, and the founder of "Vocational Education" magazine, Nino Elbakidze.
