Abstract, poster, and article formatting guidelines
1) The abstract must be submitted in English.
The abstracts presented by the conference participants will be uploaded to the electronic collection of abstracts on the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University website (https://bsu.edu.ge/main/news/3/index.html).
Abstract formatting guidelines:
- Surname and initials of the author/authors (maximum of 5 authors; each conference participant can present only one report, and co-authorship in two reports is allowed)
- Title
- Organization/structure where the work was performed
- Email of the first author;
- Keywords (5)
- Introduction and research objective
- Research methodology
- Results
Please ensure that the abstract is no longer than one page. Use MS Word 2010-2013, with the following formatting: font—Times New Roman, size—11, spacing between lines—1, 2.5 cm distance from the top and bottom edges of the page, 1 cm from the right edge, and 3 cm from the left edge. Additionally, limit the bibliography to 3-4 titles if possible.
Please ensure that the abstracts are submitted in electronic form via email, adhering to the specified requirements. The submission deadline is September 15, 2024. Kindly send the abstracts to ipb@bsu.edu.ge and include the authors' contact numbers at the bottom of the abstract.
2) Guidelines for the poster presentation
The poster must be presented in English.
It is preferable to create the poster using Microsoft Office 2010-13.
The poster's print dimensions should be 120cm in height and 90cm in width, with a portrait orientation.
Font and sizes: the text should be in Times New Roman font with the following sizes: title - 36, authors' last name and first name - 30, address - 24, main text - 20, and bibliography - no more than 15.
3) Article formatting guidelines
After editing your article, you may have the opportunity to publish it in the scientific journal "Georgian Scientists“ (https://journals.4science.ge/index.php/GS). The journal is indexed in various scientific databases, including Google Scholar (https://journals.4science.ge/index.php/GS/indexed). One issue of the journal will be entirely devoted to the conference papers.
Research articles (reviews, original scientific articles, and case descriptions) are welcome for publication in "Georgian Scientists" journal. The articles should adhere to international publication standards and can be submitted in any language, such as Georgian, English, or Russian. Each article must include a 350-word abstract and up to five keywords. The article should not exceed 20 pages, using A4 format in Microsoft Word with Sylfaen font, size 12, and 1.15 line spacing. If there are any illustrative pictures, they should be submitted as separate JPG files with a resolution of 250-300 dpi, and diagrams should be submitted in an Excel file. Authors' full names, affiliations, contact information, and scientific profiles should be provided, preferably including ORCID reports in both Georgian and English.
Authors (co-authors) are allowed to publish up to three papers in both the conference abstract collection and the "Georgian Scientists" journal.
The total number of authors for a single article submitted to the "Georgian Scientists" journal should not exceed five individuals. The decision to publish the submitted material in the magazine will be made by the editorial board after a review process.
All articles will undergo plagiarism checks, and any article found to have more than 25% plagiarism will be blocked from publication.
Authors must specify a category for their articles.
