A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and Klaipeda University. The agreement aims at implementation of joint education and research projects by the partner HEIs. The signees agree to initiate exchange programmes for the MA students and professors and teachers as well as arrange conferences, symposiums, trainings and seminars in the frame of the mutual agreement.
A dissemination meeting in the regard of the ERASMUS +exchange programme has been held for the students of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University today. Mrs. Nana Kurshubadze the Deputy Head of the Strategic Development and International Relations Department of BSU provided the students with the information on documentation required for the participation in the competition, the related universities, terms and conditions and the available scholarships.
Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is hosting the series of public lectures presented by Prof. Ingolf Bernhardt the leader of Biophysics Research Team at Saarland University. The German professor shares his expertise with BSU students, lecturers and professors and the experts in the life sciences in actual issues including the new methods of investigation of biological cells, red blood cells and their ion channels in membrane as well as their role in formation of clots in blood.
The meeting between the staff of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and the international exchange programme students has been held today. Prof. Tamar Siradze, Deputy Rector of BSU and the staff of the International Relations’ Department provided the foreign students with the information about Georgia and the university as well. In 2017-2018 the university hosts 7 international students in the frame of the exchange programme out of which two are from the University of Alcala in Spain (ERASMUS+), 3 –from different universities of Turkey (MEVLANA) and one from Kazgu University in Kazakhstan.
Mrs. Nana Kurshubadze the Deputy Head of the Strategic Development and International Relations Department of BSU and Mr. Irakli Gorgiladze Associate Professor of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of BSU took part in the international week in the frame of the ERASMUS+ Exchange Programme during October 16-22. The event at the College of Enterprise and Administration of Lublin (Poland) envisaged the meeting with the academic and administrative staff of the universities from various countries as well as presenting public lectures and participating in workshops.
