Professors from Georgia, Lithuania, UK, Canada, Ukraine, Italy, Iran gathered at the international scientific conference held at the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University to discuss legal problems in the areas of human rights protection, arbitration and education. The papers presented at the conference included ‘Heritage and Development Criteria in the Law’, ‘Georgian Reality about Reciprocity in the Criminal Law’, ‘Academic Ethics in the HEIs: Application of International Relations in the Universities’ Cultural Integration’, “Specifics of the Caucasian Geopolitics in Constructing of New World Order’. The two-days’ conference involved 35 law and policy scholars. The international conference was sponsored by the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and International Institute of Academic Development jointly.

Mykolas Romeris University Delegation from Lithuania visited Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University during the international conference ‘Law and Politics’. Vice Rector for International Relations and Research Inga Žalėnienė and Agnė Tvaronavičienė, Executive Editor of the law magazine at the Faculty of Law met Rector of the BSU Prof. Aliosha Bakuridze and deans of the University. The parties exchanged home university presentations and explored cooperation opportunities. The signed memorandum of bilateral agreement covers implementation of joint study and research programs.
