Director of the French School of Higher Political Education Rostan Madi visited Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi. At the introductory meeting held with BSU Rector, Professor Merab Khalvashi, the guest spoke about future directions of cooperation. The French School of Advanced Political Studies specializes in public law, international relations and political science, including media and communication. At the meeting, it was planned to implement exchange programs of students and professors and to sign a memorandum between higher educational institutions.

Within the framework of the project “Erasmus+” HEIN 4 the workshop "Ecosystems and technological entrepreneurship under the conditions of the 4th industrial revolution" was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The three-day workshop was led by Anna Vashakmadze, Head of the Department of Donor Relations and International Relations of the Agency for Innovation and Technology of Georgia, Maya Labadze, Assistant to the Chairperson of the Agency, and Sofo Pachulia, Manager of International Projects.

An innovation laboratory was opened at the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Education of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The Rector of BSU, Professor Merab Khalvashi opened the laboratory and spoke about its importance. The innovation laboratory will help BSU students to prepare and implement innovative projects for the industry and business sector, as well as offer mutually beneficial services to various target audiences, the industry sector - short-term training courses, for staff capacity building; students will be offered various software packages and space for developing projects and their realization.

Conditions for Enrollment in the BSU Vocational Education ProgramThe conditions for enrollment of a person in the BSU Vocational Education Program are determined by the program, which is based on the Law of Georgia on Vocational Education, by-laws and, if available, the Vocational Education Standard / Vocational Education Framework Document.Program Selection MechanismsThe selection mechanisms for the basic and secondary vocational education programs are defined by Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, and the selection mechanisms for the higher vocational education program are defined by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

On July 4-7, an interim management meeting was held in Barcelona within the framework of the "Erasmus+" institutional development project "Optimization of teaching and academic inclusion using distance learning and teaching" (LoveDistance). Project manager Nana Makaradze and researchers - Irakli Kordzaia, Amiran Sharadze and Nino Mikeladze, who are also involved in the course piloting process, participated in the meeting hosted by the IL-3 Lifelong Learning Institute of the University of Barcelona.
