The Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of Atumi Shota Rustaveli State University is launching a double-degree English-language master`s degree program with the Mykola Romeris University of Lithuania.
Director of the International Association of European Journalists, Professor of the University of Antwerp Nadia Vissers and Professor of the University of Antwerp Frederik Maren met with the Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Tite Aroshidze. The parties discussed issues of deepening cooperation between the universities and future projects, including the participation of journalism students and staff in the "Erasmus+" exchange program.
Mariam Chkhaidze, a student of the vocational education program at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, is the winner of the National Vocational Education Award.
Mariam won the national award in the nomination - "Vocational Education Student of the Year".
A delegation from Vanadzor State University visited BSU. Rustam Sahakyan, Rector of Hovhannes Tumanyan Vanadzor State University, Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Batumi, Narine Matosiyan, and Advisor to the Head of Vanadzor Municipality, Arman Bernetsian, met with BSU Rector Tite Aroshidze. The parties identified the priorities of future cooperation and agreed to implement joint projects.

During the introductory meeting, the parties discussed the existing friendly relations between the two countries and discussed the prospects for future cooperation between Batumi State University and higher educational institutions of Armenia. The meeting was also attended by Marine Giorgadze, Head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations.
