Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University was visited by Laure Casten, Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe of the Francophonie University Agency (AUF), and Tamar Gharibashvili, Head of the Francophonie University Agency in Georgia.At an introductory meeting with BSU Rector Tite Aroshidze, the parties discussed the deepening of cooperation in the promotion of the French language, the importance of the Francophone Employment Center (CEF), the promotion of the use of the French language in teaching and research, and the implementation of student mobility and exchange programs. The meeting was also attended by Irakli Kordzaia, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, and Dinara Paghava, Deputy Dean.

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ project, "Promoting Professional Education and Student Engagement through a Comprehensive Mentoring and Tutoring System in HEIs," the pilot program for tutoring and mentoring was summarized, and participants were awarded.At Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Education, with the support of the Department of Student Career Development, Sports, and Culture, hosted the concluding event of the pilot tutoring and mentoring program within the Erasmus+ project "Promoting Professional Education and Student Engagement through a Comprehensive Mentoring and Tutoring System."

Tite Aroshidze has become the Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The 11-member Academic Council of BSU elected Tite Aroshidze by a majority of the list members, with 10 votes, and 1 vote was annulled. Two candidates participated in the Rector elections - Tite Aroshidze, Doctor of Economics, Chairman of the Constitutional, Legal and Procedural Issues Committee of the Supreme Council of the Adjara Autonomous Republic, and Archil Guchmanidze, Doctor of Biology, Chairman of the Board of the Association "Flora and Fauna".

Within the framework of the project "Promoting Professional Education and Student Engagement through a Comprehensive System of Mentoring and Tutoring in HEIS", a small group of students gathered to work on better understanding challenging coursework material. The student tutor helped their peers understand complex concepts by breaking them down into simple steps.

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University has taken a significant step toward the professional development of its young faculty members. With the support of the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Education, as well as the Department of Student Career Development, Sports, and Culture, a support seminar for young lecturers was organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ project titled "Promoting Professional Education and Student Engagement through a Comprehensive Mentoring and Tutoring System".
