With the support of the Ministry of Sports of Georgia and the Ministry of Education and Sports of Ajara, and in partnership with Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Batumi is hosting the second international conference on the topic: "Sports Medicine - For Athletes' Health and Achievements".

The conference includes participation from students, academic staff and graduates of the undergraduate program in Physical Medicine and Medical Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Healthcare of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

BSU Rector Tite Aroshidze participated in the opening of the international forum and spoke about the importance of sports medicine.

The two-day conference aims to promote connections between professionals working in various disciplines - sports physicians, physiotherapists, trainers, and researchers. It also seeks to establish new clinical and educational standards for the region.

Through the format of plenary presentations, practical sessions and workshops, more than 30 BSU students have the opportunity to gain experience from high-level experts.

Within the framework of the conference, an exhibition of innovative technologies and medical equipment was organized, where BSU is represented with multifunctional training mannequins. Participants have the opportunity to receive detailed information about BSU's educational programs and resources.
