
At Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, international students of One-Cycle Educational Program (English) – Medical Doctor organized an Ethnic Culture Day as part of AGNI FEST. In Indian culture, AGNI FEST symbolizes the Festival of Fire and represents purity. The festival aims to foster unity among students and strengthen friendly intercultural relationships. During the event, the ethnic and cultural segment of the festival showcased traditional attire, cuisine, and musical performances from various regions of India.
The festival was held over the course of one month and featured a wide range of sporting and cultural activities. At the closing ceremony, students who had actively participated in the competitions and events organized within the framework of AGNI FEST were recognized and awarded for their achievements.
Since 2019, AGNI FEST has been held annually at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, providing international students with an opportunity to showcase their cultural heritage, traditions, and national identity while promoting intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding within the university community.
