On July 4-5, Simulation Games 2026 — medical simulation games — were held for the first time at Batumi International University (BAU), aiming to develop medical students' clinical competencies, practical skills, and teamwork through the use of modern simulation-based learning methods.

Within the framework of the event, participants took part in simulated scenarios closely approximating real clinical settings, in which they practically applied clinical reasoning, effective communication, rapid decision-making, and prehospital patient management skills. A significant part of the games involved the practical implementation of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) algorithms in accordance with the international guidelines of the American Heart Association (AHA).

Students of the Georgian- and English-language educational programs in the Medicine track of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Health Care of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University took part in the event: Anano Verdzadze, Nana Liluashvili, Manorevanth Saddala, and Tanishq Sharma.

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University places particular importance on student participation in such educational initiatives, which contribute to the development of future physicians' professional competencies in line with international standards.
