Visit of UNICEF Georgia’s New Representative to Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University welcomed the newly appointed Representative of UNICEF in Georgia, Isabella Castrogiovanni, together with Maia Kurtsikidze, Head of the Communication Programme at UNICEF Georgia.

An introductory meeting was held with the University’s Vice Rectors, Giorgi Katamadze and Tamar Siradze, the Dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Education, Lela Turmanidze, and experts from the University’s Child Rights Centre. The meeting focused on reviewing the projects implemented with UNICEF’s support, discussing their outcomes and impact, and exploring opportunities for further collaboration. The participants reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing child rights and strengthening future partnership initiatives in the fields of education, research, and professional development.
