
The Child Rights Centre of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University hosted a training session entitled “We Have Rights” for university students and school pupils.
The participants were welcomed by Ghassan Khalil, UNICEF Representative in Georgia and Honorary Doctor of BSU, together with Anzor Beridze, Vice Rector of BSU, and Nika Chkhartishvili, Head of the University Administration. The speakers highlighted the importance of the Child Rights Centre and presented certificates to the participants.
The training was delivered by Assistant Professor Giorgi Katamadze and focused on raising awareness of children's rights.
Through its educational programmes, training courses, public lectures, discussions, and learning resources, the BSU Child Rights Centre continues to promote child rights education and strengthen awareness among future education professionals, parents, and the wider community.
