Within the framework of the UNICEF-supported project “Strengthening University Capacities to Support Inclusive Preschool and General Education,” and in cooperation with the preschool education associations of Khelvachauri Municipality and Batumi City, a total of 76 preschool educators, special education teachers, and managers were selected to participate in training courses on inclusive early childhood education.

During August and September 2022, staff members of preschool institutions participated in a 60-hour training programme delivered by Associate Professors of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University - Nato Sherozia, Marine Gurgenidze, and Nana Mamuladze - under the mentorship of Tamar Saginadze, a trainer of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development.

The training aimed to strengthen the professional competencies of preschool education personnel and support the effective implementation of inclusive education principles within early childhood learning environments.
