Structure

1. The faculty management bodies (managing entities) are: Faculty Council, Dean, Faculty Quality Assurance Service.

2. The faculty consists of the following educational, scientific and supporting structural units:

  •  Dissertation Board;
  • Curriculum Committee;
  • Department of Oriental Studies;
  • Department of European Studies;
  • Department of History, Archaeology and Ethnology;
  • Department of Philosophy;
  • Department of Georgian Philology;
  • Ethics Committee;
  • Center for Kartveliology;
  • Center for Translation and Interdisciplinary Studies;
  • Center for Non-Formal Education;
  • Scientific Research Center for Problems of World History;
  • Center for Digital Humanities;
  • Research Center for the Exchange of Science and Academic Culture in the Black Sea Region;
  • Laboratory for Research on New and Recent Georgian History Sources and Historiography

Multimedia Center

  • 3. Various commissions and working groups may be established at the faculty to study and/or resolve individual issues.
